We'll be staying elsewhere next time we come to Bermuda. The landscaping was beautiful, the location beautiful - but it really felt like the hotel staff did not want you to be there. No one ever answered the front desk phone (if, for example, you needed to call for a taxi or housekeeping didn't leave coffee/tea) and there was something very odd going on. It's one thing when you're in a student hostel sharing bunk-beds in a dorm room, but when you're in a proper hotel one expects a bit of interest in answering questions beyond "have you seen " over and over, especially since a lot of information is in flux because of COVID. Third: this is minor in comparison to the first issue, but in all my traveling days I have never met a less interested staff. Just be closed, please, if you're not interested in cooking for guests. Second: we went to the restaurant one night and were served tuna that had definitely turned and frozen-solid dessert as their very steep prix-fixe. This is no way to spend $350 a night taking a vacation on the prettiest beach in Bermuda. We killed at least a dozen in a single night and they were everywhere in the drawers, in the ice bucket, inside the refrigerator door, coming from under the baseboards. Not the large flying tropical kind one would expect to see, but the small scatter-when-you-turn-on-the-light (or, in this case: don't scatter) kind. One star deducted from the review from each of the following: First: our room was infested with cockroaches. We were anticipating a clean and comfortable place to stay on the beach, and. PLUS as a AAA Member, you'll save even more See Tours and Packages. We chose Coco Reef because of (and loved) the location - it's in an absolutely wonderful spot and we weren't expecting the Ritz from a 3-star hotel. Extraordinary vacations with more destinations, more departures, more inclusions and more value for you Our expanded collection of vacations includes cruises, guided tours and independent vacations that offer everything from the traditional to the exotic. This hotel would have received a 5-star review for location alone but for a few major issues. But until then- we recommend you look for another place to stay when you are in Bermuda.… The resort should have been renovated and updated 20 years ago to make it a resort we would visit again. The view from our room was beautiful- so the location of the resort was priceless.
#Bermuda all inclusive vacation packages professional
Polite, super hard workers, friendly, professional and helpful. The staff/housekeeping and bar/restaurant staff were exceptional. The handrails were ropes - safety was a major concern. The stairs/walkway to the beach is a lawsuit waiting to happen- boards broken and cracked. The pool is not chlorinated or cleaned as it should be. No screen door on the sliding glass door- couldn't hear the ocean on a beach side room. There were bugs in our bathtub every single morning. Bermuda is surrounded by water- it was surprising there were no fish specials AT ALL. It has a very, very limited bar/restaurant menu - "All Day Menu". Coco Reef does not have a resort feel at all. The decor is solely the owner's taste, the artwork and statues (which are throughout the resort) were a topic at the bar most nights with other guests. The decor is so dated it is embarrassing.
